Once again i hope nobody that truly likes the feel of driving MT doesn't get offended by my post. Once again, even those people cant deny that some people have a complex associated with being able to drive MT, which isn't even hard in the first place. I learned in 1 hour!
I think it has more to do with enthusiasts. Not really US vs World. I watch all the shows/reviews from UK and Europe, the reviewers always say they would prefer a manual gearbox over the flappy paddles. Certain car enthusiasts enjoy being fully involved in the car.
