I know it's debatable, but if you use typical rear wheel drivetrain loss of 18%, that's 640hp from the engine!?  These things are monsters from the factory and it seems very underrated by BMW.

Very impressive dyno. Our project M5 dyno'ed at
550WHP and
490WTQ. So yes, these are 640+ machines
