The m3 on the other hand not only needed it with the last V8 engine due to those glorious trumpet intake manifold but its also a sportier more race car type car that is marketed for such
I agree with you on about 95% of your reasons for buying the M5. I would not necessarily be looking for something like a hood bulge but it could be something as subtle as slightly accentuated lines that the hood already has or something in that line of thinking.
