I emailed Valentine back in November, They said the following:

Unfortunately, the signal generated by blind spot detection systems imitate POP radar. If your V1 is over a year old, I suggest disabling V1's POP detection feature in order to minimize the problem. If your V1 is less than a year old, I would suggest activating the Traffic Monitor Filter. Please click on the following link for more information on programming:

Then I replied that I did have the newest version and he replied:

Yes, leave POP on.
Activating the Traffic Monitor Filter (TMF) automatically disables K-band POP detection. TMF is a better option since disabling POP cancels both K-band POP and Ka-band POP.

That's the way mine is set and I haven't had any false signals since.
