Sorry for the late replies. Yes, black gloss OEM tips powdercoated by IND in the exact same size as the original chrome stock tips. I first wanted to get the matte black ones but I didn't want to wait for 10 days.
But since many of the other black details are gloss too (front and fender grills, door frames etc.), it actually looks quite good. The black matte might be more suitable for the frosted paint jobs.
@mwlmd As for the random parking lot ;-) That's my company's parking lot and I was so eager to try this out that I couldn't wait to get home.
The 76mm size is indeed a tiny little bit small if you stare at them for about an hour. That's also why I really want to get into the Acrapovic (just don't like the logo on it).
Now as to putting them on: It is indeed "just" pulling them off. Two came of with just brute force. But I don't know what I did because the two others were literally baked onto the endpipes and it was an hour long struggle to get them off.
Slipping the new ones on was quite simple, you just have to be careful not to push them in too far as the little lip that is supposed to hold them in place is so flimsy that its easy to bend further push the tips in.
