I laughed out loud when I read this, you crack me up...

I learned to drive in the NY winters and when I moved out west I found that it is a major catastrophe on the roads if there is a light dusting and everyone freaks. Of course, I think we have one snow plow per 1000 sq miles so sometimes it's an issue. The worse thing here is frozen rain, scares the hell out of me still. Anyway, I found your post funny since you're comfortable in those conditions.
