You shouldn't have lost any power. I'd still recommend clearing the fault codes and let the car adapt.
Make sure to check 100% of the vacuum lines in the rear, maybe one of the lines got damaged during the removal. Most of the time when people loose power it's from a vacuum leak.

I'll put the vacuum hose caps on with the c clamps and report back. Hopefully this will solve the problem.
