Speaking to a colleague who has had x-pipe inserted where resonators were and existing pinched x- pipe on standard exhaust with brackets on either side replaced with straight pipe and smaller brackets and noticed increase in lower end power..
Having similar x- pipe created but not so sure as to where to have it inserted

I had the magnaflow resonated x pipe to help reduce the drone and deepen the sound. Worked well and sounded amazing.
Keep I mind that there is already an existing oem x pipe you'll need to remove if you go that route.
I ended up later going the MSR route which was downpipes, MSR X pipe, and exhaust. |
Did you just buy the Magnaflow X crossover and have it welded, or did you buy the full mid pipe? |
It was welded on. I was only able to install it where the resonators went.
