I have the AMS HFC as well and really like the HFC over the catless setup. I have the Akropovic Ti exhaust and the sound is perfect with no droning.

I installed high flow cats and have been extremely happy. Performance, smell, and sound are good. I went with a downpipe that appears to be off the market now. It is made by AMS and has GESI cats which are high quality. It was pretty expensive, but it has served me well. Good luck!
