Exactly. It is definitely nice to have the option.
I personally know individuals who did not purchase an M3 due to the absence of an AWD option.
Porsche offers AWD models and I wouldn't necessarily say that those aren't "sporty" cars . . . what's that one called . . . oh the 911 Turbo S AWD: 0-60 in 3.1 seconds. Must be that bulky AWD drivetrain weighing it down and killing all the fun.
