When you request a window seat at a restaurant just so you can look out and see it. It doesn't matter that you just climbed out only minutes ago, but if dinner lasts too long or the company is so-so, at least you can glance out and know you will be driving it home soon. And of course is anyone parks too close (seems it is always a Buick riddled with elderly who insist on donkey kicking their car doors open) you can monitor your doors and swoop into rescue mode should the need arise.
