In my opinion, you can look at it two ways. Either be the one getting fucked over, or be the one doing the fucking.
If I was in your position, I'd probably bank or invest the $25K in order to prevent me wasting it, and get back on the scene asap. I agree with Litos. Wipe yourself down and go do some damage.
