well if they start at $100K before options they might be in trouble as Mercedes just announced the new CLS will start at $95,000 and that is a much sleeker looking car, something that will compare more to the M6 four door coupe if its ever produced but at less cost than the M5? I know its only got 518 horsepower, but power isn't everything, it will still get from 0 to 60 in 4 - 4.1 seconds, could be the same as the new M5.

I would love the M5 to start at the same $95K becuase that means I could hopefully get a used one for $70K in a few years. if its pushing $120K loaded it will be out of my used bracket.
