Sorry about the trans troubles. How ironic that the long used and I'd think very dependable manual transmission isn't working properly. Makes me wonder if the DCT will prove to be a very durable piece due to the gear engagement being done with no load? The durability of the two clutches remains to be seen, especially with the power increases from aftermarket tuners.
I don't know if you were involved in the oil pump mess, but not being able to use your new car while it's parked in the garage must be very frustrating!
I also wonder if, as BMW transitions away from the MT, that parts or even whole replacements will be slower to arrive down the parts pipeline?
