I would get an E46 M3 and enjoy it NA for a while. When you get bored, then go for forced induction.
The S54 is capable of 1000hp with forced induction. I don't think anyone has gotten an S65 or N54 to that level, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...
The S54 is a legendary engine...
