My 9/1 ED car arrived at the Brunswick port on 10/8, cleared customs on 10/11 and was not released to trucking until 10/20. My continual inquiries thru my dealer only got me a statement on 10/18 that it was held up in customs. It now appears it was held at VPC until they received the oil pump while my dealer had one for my car received 10/5. I was just advised today I should be able to pick it up tomorrow, 10/24. So I lost 9 days of my car due to this recall and BMW miscommunication.
So I will now contact BMWNA which on two other issues have been useless and work on a similar compensation others seemed to be offered.
