You will certainly get varying opinions on whether it's worth it or not. That's another topic. I have never thought the CP was too harsh for my daily driver. For my tastes, I will always lean towards a firmer suspension if I have the choice. Plus we have good roads here in Texas. I drove both before I purchased and I didn't see it as an issue. I would recommend trying that if you have the opportunity.
