I used a product called Nilodor to de-funk my E39 M5. The woman I bought it from must have smoked 2 packs a day in that car for 10 years. I honestly could not breath, at first the smell was so strong I was choking. But since Oxford cars are rare as hens teeth I bought it sight unseen. About 5 treatments where I spritzed the headliner the car smells awesome.
