It's all about perspective, they theoretically have less to do, less to do also means that a small offense can likely be blown out of proportion. The same thing happens to me in my 135, I live in a small town on the outskirts of a larger town.

The cops are constantly harassing me and I NEVER speed unless on rare occasions when I find it necessary. However it has never gone so far as them calling my house to tell my parents about it, but then again if that happened my mom would rip them a new one. She knows how I drive, and knows that if they did call that it would be bogus.

That being said they are the law, best to just drop the speed to the speed limit or below at all times, hell even give them a friendly wave as you go by. I would even considering stopping and asking some sort of benign question such as asking about traffic conditions or something just to see if they treat you adversely.
