^ That's what I was about to say. Not sure how I feel about a variable ratio throughout the rack range, though. I guess if the slower ratio didn't kick in until beyond the ranges you'd use on a track or during harder driving it might not be noticeable during performance driving, but in that case why slow the rack down on the extremes rather than just having a faster rack overall? The few times the extremes are used (tight turns, parking garages) are exactly when you'd WANT a faster ratio. A slower ratio on-center helps highway stability (at the cost of nimbleness), but I don't see the point of a slower ratio toward the ends.
