I am running no res and Erace Muffs.
It is loud and drones a ton 1600-2000 RPM, which is like 90% of my city driving.
But depends what your comfort limit is. I tend to run a lower gear to keep the revs about 2,100, then it is a sweet o' sound.
try it, it is not a big deal to re-install the resonators.
