2. Hamilton was running out of race track, look again at your footage and see how much track Maldonado had to his right. Hamilton gave him the room, on their in lap and Maldonado continued to drive him off the track surface into the grass.
Looking at the angle of Maldonado's car, there is absolutely no reason for that on an in-lap. (Don't forget they are on a right hand corner.)
