Maybe, because the F10 M5 drives circles around the E60 M5 at the track?
And maybe you didn't get that the F10 M5 makes much more sense and is much more composed than the E60 M5?
What was the E60 M5? A car that was too big and heavy to be a hardcore sportscar but it behaved like this because of its drivetrain concept and because of the fact that it needed high revs. True - there were fans for it but in the end the M5 also has to have good GT manners.
The good news for the F10 M5 is: Dual role ability: Much faster than E60 on track - much better GT on high speed Autobahn runs -> perfect!
