No call home for coding changes etc
As long as you're reasonable and don't do crazy stuff (like FW update for the ECU/HU) you'll be fine.
Just remember e-sys is the same tool as used on the factory floor so there's the possibility of changing something which was not meant to be changed
As for the logs they are not collected/send to BMW at this point , there are ways to access them but not using the standard tools.
