Good read. I know how most of the components work, but never knew exactly how the M5's servotronic operates.
Would of never guessed that the firmness of the steering was adjusted electronically by altering the oil pressure.
I would guess that comfort has the highest oil pressure and sport plus has the least oil pressure. I would think that because if the system is off (no oil pressure), then turning the wheel is like having no power steering.
Is servotronic separate from power steering?
