Another reason this story might actually have traction .... Ham did mention - iin an off the cuff comment - to Will Buxton last season, when he heard of Vettel extending his contract with Ferrari ... something along the lines of 'I guess that is not longer in the cards, but I'm content where I'm at too' ... meaning driving for Ferrari ... however a bit disappointed, but fine with staying with Merc.
