When I purchased my 2013 M5 it wasn't listed as CPO. The dealer said their cost was $2600. This is a Canadian dealer so US might be cheaper.
Extended warranty is in the $5k range so $9k seems like a complete scam. I doubt the dealer pays more than the general public
