I'll probably write BMW a letter. So much for buying first year M3/M4. It looks like you have to wait for reviews instead of trusting that BMW will come out with a great product off the bat.
Well, it's no surprise. Most manufacturers have always updated their facelift cars, whether with better performance enhancements, newer cosmetics or ironing out niggles - it's nothing new. Early adopters should know this by now. Manufactures have to keep things fresh and keep up with the competition. If you are unhappy, then switch up, if not then too bad. It's life. The automobile industry isn't the only one doing this. M could have made the best car in the world but progress happens whether one likes it or not.
Point is its the next model Year. Sure I don't mind comp packs or updates. But a year later? This is an automobile not an iPhone.

In the M3 it was actually the 4th MY.
