today ... 1000 km and add 1 litre ... totally unexpected since I am still in the break in period. Stopped by my dealer and asked if this is normal and the mechanics said it's within the prescribed factory range and he had seen other M5 coming in to top up between 1000 to 1500 km.
Even my F10 550 did not consume this much oil until I was about 5000 km.
