Just literally drove my car back from the service department where it had been for four days for a bad driver's seat module. Then my cellphone rings and its BMW NA telling me about the recall. I THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE!

I was told not to drive the car at all and that I would be advised when replacement parts are in. They don't even want me to drive the car to the service center when the parts are available. I'm supposed to call BMW roadside assistance and have them flatbed it. I was also advised two to three weeks before the parts are available. What's the over/under on it being more than four weeks?

This is crazy!
