Yes, go to the part store and buy an OBD II code reader. It would actually be cheaper than having a diagnostic done at the dealer.

I see that you are in Canada but in the U.S. all of our major parts stores will read OBD II codes free of charge without even purchasing anything. Not sure what your exact options are up there but I hope this helps.
Thanks I will get one, it will be worth it's price since I'll be able to use it for any possible future notifications..
