One of this M5's biggest differentiators (sp?) was that it came in optional manual. If the next gen M5 doesn't come with one then it just lost one of it's biggests assets and makes it much more similar to offerings from Mercedes and Audi...DCT's/Auto's w/TT V8's.
Disappointed to see that it won't be offered in manual..but BMW is a first and foremost a corporation and if they don't see a business case for it, then to bad for us folks who enjoying rowing our own gears.
