I prefer the steering on a 3rd also. Much crisper and more responsive, but they are completely different cars.
I think the F10 was more of a move towards luxury than performance. The car feels too smooth and numb compared to the E60. It depends what you prefer.

Didn't want to hear that. I've drove an E350 and I hated the steering like I hate the steering on the Merc's I've driven because of the numb and smoothness of it and if the F10 is close to that, I'm a little disappointed. I know it's suppose to cater for the more mature driver but to miss out on that feedback with the steering, I'm a little sad.
