Here in Texas where I live we have a road with an 85 mph speed limit. I drive the 80mph part of it fairly often. I10 west of San Antonio all the way to El Paso is 80mph and while there are some DPS out there, there are plenty of places they aren't. US 285 north of Pecos is desolate.

The road is lumpy in some places but go as fast as you want, no cops out there, no jurisdiction, no people for miles around. North of Orla, there is nothing. Here is Orla.
