The LSA engine may be rated higher than the S63TU, but in reality the S63TU produces much more hp. My old CTS-V's LSA (mated to an auto tranny) put down 463rwhp on a Dynojet dyno. That was on par with most other stock automatic CTS-V. The manual cars would putting down closer to 500whp. The LSA is rated at 556hp at the crank in the CTS-V and 580hp in the ZL1. So even if the ZL1 is a manual putting down say 500whp, it still weighs early 4,100lbs. If the ZL1 has an auto, it will probably put down under 500whp but probably be faster in the real world than a manual car where time will be lost in the shifts. The average DCT equipped M5 will have a better real world power to weight ratio and much more efficient shifting.
