Never had the experience of a squeak from my brakes since I got my M5 from ED October of last year. My mechanic has told me that squeaky brakes are usually caused by dirty pads/discs and can easily be solved by driving the car and occassionally breaking to remove the dirt, however, if the squeaks still persist then it could mean uneven wear on some parts or portions of the pads or discs which may need adjustment -- just relaying the info.
