Does this mean a return to the older hydraulic steering rack (HPS)? Isn't this a step backward in terms of technology (though a step forward in steering feel)?

Wonder if this means defeat from BMW that EPS can never match road feedback of HPS. Not good....
The f10 m5 always had hydraulic steering, it's just been recalibrated..
