I think you Americans are taking 'adjustable side bolsters' (or lack of them) a tad bit too serious? Sounds as if you guys are all so thin that keep rolling from one side to another during turns?
It's nowhere that useful unless you're on a track and in no way that comfortable to be talking about it 24/7. I have them and never use them, they're not tall enough to prevent body roll. There are so many more important and realistic concerns for this car's engineering, I wonder if Germans laugh at this becoming a #1 complaint.
