There were a couple of opportunities to improve... In general, any time I drive a new track OR a different car, I leave what I think are wide margins. Sometimes they're narrower than you think.
One was a tight right hander where the pavement was polished and ice-like in its friction properties. Dial in the right steering and stay off the brakes - pray a bit - hook up near the curb - take it slower next time.
Another was rolling on a bit too much throttle in 3rd to complete an overtake before the next corner. Got a bit sideways, which was more embarrassing than anything else.
Wife likes this sort of thing and (for some reason) trusts my driving.
I hope you find the chance to do this. It's truly a life event for petrolheads!
