I have been preying that was the case. There are videos that specifically say M5 LCD Instrument Gauges.
However, I just logged into my Owners Circle where I check my cars productions status.. and I clicked on "standard features".

Thankfully dodged that one. Love the new iDrive upgrade, but getting rid of the iconic red needles is craziness.
The 2013 F10 M5's will have the new iDrive and retain the normal instrument gauges with red M specific needles.
