Besides, why are you so concerned with BMW turning the maximum profit? Or are you just afraid your dream M5 will be on the dealer lot offered in a transmission you are not capable of driving?

Some of us here actually buy the cars we talk about. Why would I buy an M5 off the lot? Euro-delivery if I decide on it. Hardly a "dream" car. Nice sedan that does well in it's class. I would
choose the DCT, not because I can't handle a MT, but because in a luxo barge like the M5 it isn't necessary.
