Last year I was looking to test drive a 2012 650 coupe so I was following their delivery into my dealer. Long and short of it was that I was told that my dealers car was in the U.S. but being held at the U.S. port of entry for some 2+ weeks because BMW wanted to have all(?) dealers get the car at roughly the same time. If this is what really happened last year than maybe BMW is thinking along the same lines for the M5. I hope this is not the case because it is torture.
