Have you ever driven one? They are AWESOME. My 79 Elky was not quite that big, but big by todays standards. The thing was like riding in an airplane. Didn't feel a thing from the road. Definitely not made for going fast though. I maxed that poor El Camino out one time. Speedo only went to 80. It was scary to say the least, just floating everywhere. Man I was a dumbass kid.
But those cars cannot contain their swagger. Id love to be able to participate in those antique car drive ins, so much fun.
Oh and much love for the FairLane...just not my style I guess.
