try modifying a 550i xdrive
I have owned a 2000 M5 and a 2008 M3 and did fine in heavy snow of Wisconsin as long as I switched to set of winter wheels with Dunlop Wintersports. I just sold my M3 and bought a 550i x-drive M sport and added the Dinan suspension, the S2 performance chip, and the exhaust system. It doesn't have the double clutch transmission but it is pretty close to an AWD M5 and so far it's been totally awesome in the snow with the stock all season run flats.
