I have seen the 'red car' warning before. Also, one time coming up on a car turning right, where I could tell it was turning out of my way and I was going straight, I cut it close enough that the car began to beep at me.
So the beeping is definitely there at some point. The steering wheel vibrated too, I think. Only happened once.
The automatic braking I haven't seen. I thought that was only if the car has active cruise control, and M5's don't?
