I Believe as for the aventadors, they are doing that just to avoid scratches caused by the cutting process of wrapping,
so basically those are printed with machines in shapes and templates, allowing them to install without the use of any cutting and the risk of any damage to the car's paint (excluding glue and tanning of paints)

Not sure about those red stripes though..
