I was considering that. I currently drive an F10 550i that obviously comes without the spoiler. Since I won't take my M5 to the track, my only concern was noise or other non-performance related issues. At up to 140 mph the 550i acted up fine without the spoiler. Won't have much opportunity to do those speeds with the M5 anyway.
Am I missing something? Is the rear axle weight on the M5 different compared to the 550i so that I would definitely need the slightly higher down pressure created by that tiny lip? You made me a bit worried.
