This is pretty interesting. I don't have the M5(yet), but I have a M3 that is obnoxious, so I wouldnt really want to bring that to a executive meeting, but I would. I have a normal 4 cyl honda accord sedan that I drive 90% of the time, and I have a big diesel truck.
My point is that I could easily in "your" position or any position drive my truck to a meeting. A executive meeting, meeting with a buyer, a seller or whatever and This truck would not be looked at as anything but a big truck (maybe redneck). however, it costs almost as much as these other high profile cars we are talking about.
My line of work requires meeting with people everyday and giving them money, so they probably rather see me in a expensive car, vs a hoopty, maybe.
