Some may not agree about the quality of the location of the Marriott vs something closer to the Hauptbahnof or the Marianplatz. But you can get it on priceline for some incredibly cheap prices. And there is plenty of street parking around it. |
Not a local expert and certainly are nicer and potentially more convenient, depending on what you want to do. I liked it because:
1. stayed there before with ED
2. not planning on hanging around Munich ( want to go driving). Done before.
3.very reasonable ( trying to preserve SOME of my ED savings, with wife......)
4. 2.7km from Welt
5. Can get familiar food in a pinch (no flames pls)
6. Walk to underground.
7. As plat. I get free upgrades :-)
