Here's my take (also just a guess, but it kills sometime waiting for our cars!):

- "Customes release"; I read an article about the VDC, and it said the customs release happens while the cars are still on the boat (i.e., the paperwork part; the physical inspection happens later at the port) - presumably once the ship enters US waters?

- "Liner Release"; could occur at docking when the bill of lading for the car is transferred from WW to whomever it it that unloads the cars from the ship.

- "Discharged"; time when the car was actually off-loaded from the ship.

- "Delivered from"; might be when the car was received into customs.

Again, all this is just my guess. But I think there is less than a 1% chance that the "Discharged" or "Delivered from" entries that popped up today mean the car has cleared customs - way too quick for that to happen from what I've heard about the process. But hey, you never know.
By the way guys, another thing I learned today is that my guess at was these log entries mean was actually fairly accurate.
